Do you think the episode would have been better, worse, or about the same if Leni or the parents were the ones trying to resolve all the girls’s problems instead of Lincoln?

This was a pretty good and relatable episode for Lori. Her wanting her own space was more than warranted, but it’s also understandable and sweet how she slowly realized how much she misses and loves her siblings.

Also it’s sweet to see how much the rest of the siblings rely on her as their older sister. And some of the antics were pretty funny like Lola going bald and Lincoln being stuck in a rock and a hard place with Luna and Luan.

8/10

I truly love this episode. Lori was done right here, in my opinion. It’s like you said, teenagers start to develop the sense of independence and think they’ll be better without anyone else until they get proven wrong and realize that family truly is important no matter what. I’m glad with how they showed this with Lori, and I love how everything turned up well in the end. I do agree that the whole Luna, Luan, and Lincoln moment truly was the worst for how poorly executed it was. Here’s hoping they don’t do that again. But overall, this was a very fun episode that I still enjoy today, and your review was very good. Thanks for the fun homie, and I hope you have a good one today.😊❤️

This really was a good episode, and yes, teenagers start to develop wanting their own things in life and some peace, but not all the time you think you're happy about it, the memories will come to you. And yes, Luna & Luan did Lincoln dirty with their argument. But hopefully, it never happens. Overall, 8/10 as well. Great review, homie. Have a safe Sunday ❤️😎🤙

Overall, for a classic episode from Season 2, it was good! It has its ups and downs, especially with the younger siblings, but it was a good developmental episode for Lori!

Great review, bro! 😁

A decent episode that kinda foreshadowed (if unintentionally) something that happened several years later in “Homeward Bound”

Luan and Luna demanding Lincoln solve their problems but threatening him with bodily harm if he's against them? Yeah, that's a season two episode alright.

This is off-topic, but I think Lori was at her best from the second half of Season 1 to Season 3 (or Season 4, I guess). She was pretty mean in the earliest episodes, but she eventually became nicer and more likable while still being able to stand up for herself and could be the most sensible of the Loud kids (aside from Lincoln and maybe Lisa). The Lori we have now isn’t bad, but most of the time she’s a complete pushover who gets overwhelmed by her siblings or a total drama queen.

Anyway, I don’t have much else to say about this episode since I agree with pretty much everything you said. I do however want to mention that it’s very nice to hear someone say the scene where Luna and Luan force Lincoln to side with either one of them wasn’t “cruel” or “abusive” but “nonsensical”. Overall, I’d give this episode an 8/10, too. Great review.

Mr. Grouse’s line “Can I still have your dad’s lasagna?” is funny every time 😅😅😅 8/10

Lori might have her Three Little Pigs moment where an unexpected approaches her apartment.

This episode is pretty good and and somewhat adorable I like Lori‘s character in this episode she thought she was ready to move out from her family, but it turns out she wasn’t and then a few years later after this episode came out she was actually ready to move out from her parents in the episode Schoold but I wasn’t really huge fan of her siblings and this episode some of them were pretty annoying in this episode like Leni especially believing that Lana nightmare was real and I used to really thought that Lola being bald when I was younger when this episode first came out was funny but looking back at it yeah it’s not as funny as I used to think it was but despite my problem was with the younger siblings, I still really enjoyed this. Lori episode definitely one of her best appearance in the 2nd season

Loti was presented as very relatable in this episode, as she has the desire to be all by herself, but felt she really wasn't prepared yet. And I also love the antics of Mr. Grouse, as he'll do anything for his insatiable appetite for Lynn Sr's lasagna. But I'm still slightly bothered by the younger siblings descending into chaos to the point that they pretend Lori doesn't exist. Especially when Luna and Luan depend on Lincoln for stopping their quarrel. But it's still a pretty good episode, moving in with yet another 8/10.

Anyone else remember the "controversy" this Season 2 Loud House episode got because of a certain scene between Lincoln, Luna, and Luan?

Well, thanks a lot, No Such Luck. 😡

This was good, nowhere near the top of my list for the season or for the show (its more in the middle of the good list) but it still enjoyable. I understand why Lori would want some time away form her family, her being the oldest means that the other siblings look to her for guidance and to settle their disputes and to be put under THAT kind of pressure day after day would get to anyone. That being said I really like that she also misses her siblings and was bored out of her mind without them around. It goes to show that while they DO drive her crazy she still wants them to be in her life and vice versa. It reminded me of the SpongeBob episode “Squidville” where Squidward moved away form Spongebob and Patrick to avoid their actions only to discover that life is incredibly boring without them.

Not too much to dislike, Lori wasn’t wrong for wanting some peace and quiet and the other loud siblings were just trying to help her achieve that. they were just doing what they do one a regular basis, it’s not their fault it gets crazy with the amount of kids in the house. I also guess it strange that Lori would ‘t just admit she missed he family, yeah I know she SAID it was cause “they would never let her live it down” but that’s semes bit specious reasoning. Her idea of paying Mr. Grouse to wreck the garage is also shortsighted on her part, how did she think her parents would feel about that? the scenes with the family trying to solve their own problems without Lori, while at points funny, were not really needed, especially the one with Lincoln trying to solve Luna and Luan’s fight. I guess they were there to show them wanting Lori back as well but I feel that should have been about Lori and desire to be apart from then connected to her family.

There are comparisons to be made to “the mad scientist” where Lisa wants to leave the family and be on her own but discovers that independence is not all its cracked up to be. On the whole, like I said in your review of it, I don’t think this is as good as that one, while Lori’s reasoning (flawed as it was) made more sense than Lisa’s just not wanting to admit that she misses her family, it make a little more sense for Lisa to discover she’s not ready to leave her family as she was only 4 while Lori was about to entire college and would thus leave her family anyway (even it is was temporary. In addition, because that one is solely about Lisa wanting to part of the family it wastes less time in showing why its better if she go back.

Last thing I’ll say before I give my ranking is that I did like how this served as a bit of foreshadow to what would happen in "Homeward Bound" where Lori returns to royal woods and chooses to leave in Mr. Grouse garage to be close to her family but still have her own space. Its cool that the show did that, even if I don’t think it was planned(and even if I have mixed thoguht on her coming back in the first place).
Still, this was good, not among my favorite but still enjoyable 7/10

In my opinion, I find this episode mediocre, but seeing Luna and Luan threatening Lincoln frustrated me. But hopefully in the upcoming episodes we'll see how Lori is getting on living in Mr. Grouse's garage.

It kind of irks me that Lori didn't go back into the garage at the end of Homeward Bound.
