It's a lengthy sol. WE CAN WRITE THE an=a+(n-1)d AND am=a+(m-1)d, AND SUBTRACT IT. a WILL BE ELIMINATED. AFTER A LITTLE BIT OF SOLVING WE GET d=0. JUST PUT d=0 IN BOTH THE EQN AND YOU WILL GET TWO MORE EQN--- a-m=0 AND a-n=0. SUBTRACT THE EQN TO GET n=m. FROM THE PREVIOUS EQN WE KNOW m AND n IS EUAL TO a. SUBSITUTE ALL THE VALUES IN THE EQN a(m+n)= a+(m+n-1)d. PUT n AND m AS a AND THE ANSWER YOU WILL GET IS 0.

HENCE PROVED. (BY A CLASS 11TH STUDENT)
