I'm not a Urban Myer fan but he can flat out coach, especially in big games, and he's a brilliant recruiter . If he goes to Texas, the longhorns is going to be full of five and four star players

The problem isn’t the I have lived in Texas all my life. Texas has the luxury of “selecting “ whom they want to come to UT.These selected prima donnas get to campus and have their arms out wanting all the trophies, accolades, etc! They don’t believe they need to work or put out the effort to win . Changing the coach won’t stop this or change what UT has become, which is just lazy and a total sense of entitlement. UT and OU rule the Big 12, but who got better for leaving and joining the SEC, , , , Texas A&M ! Meanwhile UT and OU win the Big 12 going up against not so good talent, BIG

As a Buckeyes fan, I wouldn't be Mad. He's a Coach for life, he left us in a good situation, and did right by us for the most part. Zack Smith was a shit show, and unfortunately Urban took the brunt of the BS. I just hope he actually is in better health, and has made progress with that sist. The way he left us wasn't the same as Florida, and Pryor to all of that he's been successful everywhere he's been. So if he wants to I say go for it. He's great for the Sport, and still brings a lot to the table other than is Amazing record. My worry though, just like the USC job. Texas is not what it used to be, so unless Urban is given tools, and resources he needs to overhaul recruitment, and make the changes to make Texas Relevant the way they used to be. I don't know if he's gonna be able to be successful as his track record has proved.

Texas fans were all in on replacing Coach Max Brown, Texas fans were all in on replacing Coach Strong with Tom Herman, now Texas fans are once again supposedly all in on replacing Coach Herman with Coach Meyer. Does anyone else see a dangerous pattern here? I’m a diehard UT fan.

Being a Texas alum, my opinion is Tom Herman needs to be fired. He was good, but not great at Houston. And at this level, he's well below average. UT needs to go after either Urban Meyer or Nick Saban, selling them on the idea if they sign with Texas they could become the only coach in college football history to win national championships at three different schools. And that would probably be a record that will never be broken. Texas has the money, the facilities, a great recruiting area, etc. to be in the national championship race year in year out. It just needs a top-notch head coach.

Nope, he has his restaurant here in Columbus and one sure way to kill that is going to Texas or anywhere again to coach a college team. Many diehard supporters of Urban would probably abandon him in a minute. Hey his choice but I don't see it happening.
