The sound is great but the boom touches the cheek which makes noises and the only way how to prevent it is to bend the boom itself.

The concept is very nice but when i received one model to replace our aging 4066 and do some testings, the little brittle plastic transparent piece broke the first time we tried to adjust...
looks like it's not possible to reder only this piece (i hope i'm wrong!) it's also an illusion that people will take so much time to adjust one microphone when running TV show with sometimes more than 40 Headsets to adjust in 20 minutes on all different shaped heads.
Long hairs, tight dresses, beards, etc... Not everybody is still and bald like this quiet mannequin.
I wish someday to find the perfect headset but this one failed the first minutes..

Hi DPA! We have several of these 6066's (10pieces) and we're really struggeling to get a clean sound out of them without scratching, rumbling etc because of their sensitivity of hair etc barely touching the boom and/or cable in the neck. We're not even using them because of this. The sound is great like any DPA microphone, but the handling to get a clean recording/live performance is a nightmare. Solution on its way? Or should we switch for another model within the 2year warranty because this isn't ok at this price level.
