Laparoscopic Slipping Knot by Maurice Zwart. This knot can be useful when an adjustable suture is required, or when working with delicate structures. I was inspired by Dutch pancreatic surgeons using slipping knots in duct-to-mucosa stitches of the pancreaticojejunostomy and for suture that retract structures, e.g., Blumgart mattress suture. Many variations where used in tying the slipping knot and this form seemed the hardest to use, as the direction of tying defines the slipping direction and teach it requires some explenation.
