They’re literally shitposting during the performance and it still goes unbelievably hard

Geordie Greep truly is not of this earth. Misplaces vocals and still fits them in without even fucking up any of the guitar work.

My girlfriend son's band played this last night during the Tri-C High School rock off at the Rock Hall of Fame in Cleveland. I thought it was a Primus song and later found out it was Black Midi which I never heard of. They brought the house down with their version and advanced to the finals.

It's amazing to witness the ground shift taking place in the UK music scene right now. It's been a while.

Morgan Simpson is easily the best drummer working today. The man is a beast!

3:52 iconic. I also appreciate him correcting Sergeant to Private. It’s important to be correct

I figured for the longest time that this band was a bunch of 40-something-year old seasoned former jazz musicians who decided to get to get togther and drop some alternative experimental rock, but to my shock, found out they were younger than I am. They are insanely advanced musicians and you can tell they've spent nearly every day of their lives playing some capacity.

I can't believe I've been a fan of Black Midi for this long without ever seeing what they look like... ngl I expected a bunch of middle aged white guys

I just discovered them. This is so dope, this is like a modern day King Crimson/Mr. Bungle hybrid. So lit.

This is so different from the studio version but the instrumental is still so sick

They're all so incredible at what they do, truly.

And then there's Morgan transcending the physical realm back there.

Morgan Simpson for President of the Nation Under a Groove. That young man could make a groove out of nowhere every-single-time

First time listening to this band, its like Primus but Les plays guitar instead of bass and they have keyboards, very cool

When I first listened to it, a cross between Mr Bungle and Jello Biafra in the "spoken album" phase came to my mind.
