My partner's grandparents are long time conservatives. I asked her grandma if she's ever heard of Project 2025. She said no. I told her basically what it says, no school lunches, erasure of the DOJ, complete immunity for the president, etc. and she was *horrified*. So it's clear they're not telling the more moderate voters about their plans. They're making it seem like Trump is going to just "return everything to normal", but that couldn't be further from the truth.

If you listen to Bob Woodward’s Trump Tapes, Trump actually mentions The Heritage Foundation and speaks highly of it. This was in an interview prior to the 2020 elections and during his administration. So it seems to me that he was likely working on this way back then.
