Changing Weather & Climate in the Great Lakes Region: A UW-Madison MOOC

There’s a reason Midwesterners love talking about the weather: It’s unpredictable. In this four-week University of Wisconsin–Madison Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), we’ll explore the weather of the Great Lakes and how climate change has impacted the region. We’ll examine one season per week, sharing the science behind the weather using information from the National Weather Service, the recent National Climate Assessment, and the Wisconsin Initiative on Climate Change Impacts.
