The full English breakfast is a national favourite. With variations across Scotland, wales and Ireland. It has become ingrained in our culture and is a magnificent weekend breakfast...IF done correctly. There seems to be a trend with the full English breakfast, that in some establishments, it's seen as an after thought. You'll know these places, they are cheap chain pubs and hotels and dubious cafes. Boring crap sausages, watery bacon, insipid cheap beans and eggs that have seen better days. We've all experienced a bad Full English Breakfast, so in this video i'm going to show you how to make it properly, my way.

Now, there are many ways to enjoy this wonderful breakfast. You can add mushrooms, fried bread, you could switch out the fried eggs for scrambled or poached. But there must be be bacon and good English sausages. The sausage to me, makes or breaks the full English breakfast, so make sure to spend money on getting good quality ones.

To make a full English breakfast for one you will need:
►2 free range eggs (scrambled, poached or fried)
►3 rashers of back bacon
►2 good quality English sausages (no hotdogs or brats for this!)
►2 slices of black pudding
►A small bunch of vine on cherry tomatoes
►1/4 can on heinz baked beans
►A couple of rounds of toast (fried bread is also good)
►Butter and a little oil for cooking
►Salt & pepper
Optional extras if you want them
►Hash browns (not traditional but nice)
►Fried mushrooms
►Bubble and squeak
Serve up with a big mug of tea, and sauces such as ketchup and/or brown sauce (HP or Daddies)

great video agree that good quality is a must particularly sausage, bacon don't scrimp on quality, have a look at the Hawksmoor breakfast for 2 in london if they still do it.

Ha, I knew it. Drooling over here! That fry up was gorgeous. Once again I love all the new touches to your videos. Also, I live close to Louisville, KY and at our Whole Foods we can get English style sausages and back bacon. No black pudding though, sad face. I have had black pudding before and I LOVE it. Very nice breakfast. Like all. Even fried blackpudding. In germany i fry Blutwurst (blood sausage )
Nice with onions and apples.
One question: do you prepare porridge with water or milk in UK

It’s called, “Canadian Bacon”, and, “Breakfast Sausage” over here, and I have a “Live” butcher, nearby, but pork gives me gout, so I’m sticking with eggs on corn tortillas, with a little pepperoni!
