I served 25 years in the Air Force and spent every single day seeing and hearing these aircraft overhead. However, I STILL get chills and even a little emotional during stadium flyovers. Proud to be part of the team.

Nothing else on this planet sounds like an A-10....never has, never will. Love that machine.

Brings a tear to my eyes to see so much freedom flying over these stadiums. Although those F-20s are more likely T-38s. The Air Force hasn't flown the Tigershark since the 1980s

2:21 A-10 engine whirl is so cool! Served 8.5yrs with USN and had the pleasure to witness these a/c fly at NAS Fallon. They sound like no other jet aircraft 👍🏾

No other sound quite like afterburning turbofans. Every morning, back when I lived in North Carolina, the sound of F-15E's were constant, and while they were ground-shakingly loud on takeoff, it's certainly a sound and feeling that I will never forget. When those twin engines spool up and takeoff with full burners, you feel the ground vibrate and you feel it in your chest. Absolutely minty.

One day in Kansas, I saw 8-12 B2s fly over head in a single file line. Pretty wild...if I had known there were only 20 in existence, I would have been even more blown away.

I wish you could capture how it truly feels when the fighters fly over

I LOVE flyovers. We were stationed at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky and my neighbors husband flew Chinnoks. Whenever he came home from a deployment, he managed to buzz the housing area on his way back to the hangar. It was awesome. We were also at Zama, Japan when a young person publicly complained of the soldiers marching and singing Jodies so early in the morning.... she was respectfully reminded that she was hearing the sound of freedom. I think of that every time I hear military aircraft.

I get to see A10's flyover daily as I live perfectly positioned to the North above Martin State Aiprport where the Air National Guard is. Absolutely epic, never gets old.

The A10s were called in to stop his horrible singing. Former Marine and jets low passing over the battlefield kicks the adrenaline factor up for us and the flee factor of the opposition. You have to watch the newbies the jet adrenaline will make them jump walls and go into bayonet town. Also happy birthday Marines, Semper Fi. Love the zoomys.

I was a kid when we were stationed at RAF Woodbridge/Bentwaters in 89-92. My dad was part of the 81st TFW. I will never love a plane more than I love those A-10 Warthogs!

I don't know why seeing the B-2 spirit got me emotional, but man that aircraft is something else. The new Northrop Grumman bomber is insane, can't wait to see that do one. Imagine seeing that for the first time and not knowing what it is, looks like a spaceship compared to most other aircraft.

One of the best flyovers I ever saw was, oddly, a single A-4 Skyhawk at the Pocono 500 back in the 80s. He made a long, low approach and flew over at about 1, 000 feet. Yes, 1, 000. Then he did a roll and flew back, did a pull-up and roll, and left.
