YAMAHA YXZ 1000Rs FINALLY SHOW UP TO RACE SOUTHERN HILLS

It was great to see these two Yamaha YXZ 1000Rs out at the Southern Rock Race and the STR8UP SxS event. They seemed to do really well even though they are ideal for these types of climbs. These two machines have the gear work transmissions in them that changes the ratio and makes them way more trail friendly. Definitely look forward to seeing them at more events.

I drove one and the YXZ is awesome! I personally love driving a vehicle with a clutch. The Rzr is fast but made cheaply and blows belts up. At the dunes belt changes are very common...

Those inline 3 engines sound Awsome as hell!!! Not as much Torque when compared to a V-Twin with the same cc ratings, but still sounds nice as hell and definitely does the job!

That sound mean - clutch drops are fun too. The RZR's just sound so monotone and boring - the RPM differences and pitch of the Yamaha sound exciting. I know this means absolutely nothing to the driver - but living vicariously through the videos the Yamaha's so far seem more exciting.

No belts high revs no HI Low I went with the YXZ for those reasons I love mine.

How much boost is being pushed through the first one? is sounds amazing spooled up and running straight back pressure. also are they running 70 30 gear reductions? I love my yamaha but the lack of a low range option on the yxz and can-am's visco-lock front diff in my renegade made me choose the polaris rzr xp. I really enjoy the rzr and it fits how I ride very well.
