I live in Beemster in the Netherlands. There is a 4 meter slope at any direction within a few kilometres from my house. I can always find a place to slope soar and if there is no wind, I fly behind my house above the huge fields.

Tiny slope = concentration, quick reactions, heart in mouth, and hard work... the therapy for that is at least one hour with a gentle floater, a gentle slope, and a gentle breeze!
As always, thank you to both of you.

Flying the wing, scraching the pebbles! That's super Mr John!
Thanks for the VDO!Congrats and cheers!

Great landing move! This must be a feather weight, or on a string, as appears to be flying where there is almost no slope. Twitching with the wind puffs; it makes it appear as if a seagull is at the controls.

this is what slopesoaring is all about - having some fun, enjoying the wind, not worrying about all the other stuff, just you, the plane and a nice breeze :)

“Micro slope soaring” or maybe “bump soaring”. It did seem to put a cramp in your looping but nothing else. Opens up soaring to a lot of other places if you are open minded to the possibilities as shown by this video. Excellent!

At least you don't have a long climb if you land out!😁

Just dancing in the wind, that bit of slope was all it needed.

We would never know about this if it wasn't for the absolutely outstanding camera work.

Used to do this down at Ogmore by sea in south Wales when the F3F league events were called off due to low cloud back in the day! Also the East Sussex Mob used to do the same down on the beach at Seaford beach using the slightly ramped up beach boulders left by the tide and storms... at night! It was possible due to the light pollution from the shops on the seafront.
Combat was hilarious with a good few foamies up together!
It's remarkable what you can fly off of, and the key is the smooth air coming in from the sea. Any kind of normal turbulence such as you would get on an inland slope tends to make it very difficult.

This flight with little inclination is really cool. Show

I love my Wildthing.
It’s the nearest thing to a completely indestructible sloper and flies like a good’un.
Cool sticks there John, looked tricky.
😎👍🍻

Nice flying! Unlikely lift sources are always fun. I used to fly the beach wall at Southport with a chuck glider and once attempted the sloping roof of the building at our local sports field (total fail) but this is more impressive. The ultimate award will probably go to the brave/barmy glider guider who manages to work the side of a cross channel ferry. Now there's a challenge.

Thumbs up if this guy has the engaging aero modelling family support we wished we had. #goodonya!woodfield

Now you're just showing off... lol! Very nice. I have tried many times to slope off of flat ground in high wind... lol!

You know the art&style of soaring John! Cheers!

Has this got gyros, or are you just telepathic?! I am pretty sure I know what would happen if I tried this 😂

She looks a bit tricky and twitchy to fly. I would have to add little winglets (like a Poonker) just to fly it, or I'd crash it all the time, I reckon.

Great to watch thanks. Compliments to the camera person! Laurie. NZ.
