What we need in place right now is for renters for homes and apartments and motels and any other living quarters that charges rent, we need to put a new law in place that says... You can set your rent at any price you want. We will not put a guideline on how much you can charge for rent. But once that tenant signs that lease you can't raise that tenant rent ever. What they are doing to people is bringing them in at a decent rent rate and after they accumulate in their home then they hit us with the next year your rent is going up
$600.00 to $800.00 a month. This is just a new version of Mafia extortion when you really look at it.
Tell me up front you want $3000.00 a month for rent so I can tell you right then and there to kick rocks.
But to trap somebody into a house and then use that power to extort money from them is just plain and simple "criminal" This is the law that needs to be put in place, everything else is just smoke and mirrors.
