Concord had so much potential as a story based game just for them to announce it’s in one of the most toxic genres of gaming. Completely killed any excitement I had for it.

Starting a presentation with a live service hero shooter with the current way gamers feel about anything having the words “live service” or “hero shooter” in it is the biggest oof I’ve ever seen. I genuinely thought we were getting a fun action/adventure game in the beginning.

I went from never having heard of Concord, to suddenly feeling both invested and excited to suddenly realising i dont really care to hear anything more about it. What a rollercoaster 5 minutes

Why does everything that looks like it could be an interesting world to explore end up being a live service PvP game.

There are too many live service games, it will be very difficult to get people to leave a live service game they have invested so much time and money into.

I was actually interested in Concord at the beginning when I thought that was a single player story trailer. Once they said 5v5 it was decided I will not be buying that game lol

Xbox showcase was better by a long shot

The cutscene for Concord looked great (Some guardians of the galaxy vibes) then the gameplay looked like every game I don't want to play.

Astro Bot and monster hunter are the only games playing out of this WHOLE state of play

You know it’s a bad state of play when I’m more excited for Astro Bot than any of the other announcements.
