Remember, Illaoi ult only dodge cc and suppressions (like Mordekaiser's R). Illaoi ult doesn't dodge damage.

Usually Illaoi mains will always *_ALWAYS_* use E first then Ult to get the maximum number of Tentacles to slap me with, only to realize that they just summoned every tentacle outside my Ult and now i can proceed with beating the shit outta them after they wasted their only hard hitting abilities

I did that on illaoi multiple times
The only thing is that once or twice Mordekaiser ult didn't go on cool down and he was able to ult again right after

So frustrating.
Dodging Mord's ult with Illaoi's ult is not easy.

FUn fact, if you charge Sion Q then morde ults you, Sions Q will be in the "real world" when you activate it. The same goes for it you charge the Q and the morde ult ends. your Q will still be inside mordes realm. GG rito. Intended right?

Illaoi NEEDS to ult to win, if u are Morde never engage with R, you will win if she has only 1/2 tentacles, if you ult after her ult you will dodge the slam that come with her R. Illaois window to cancer morde R is small tho so i'd say it's a good match for mord, but it's not a full counter.
