I got a Lone Wold hand climbed and harvested two bucks out of it this year. One in PA and another in WV.

The hang on all the way for all hunting, I love the hang on
Never have to spend time hunting perfect trees with  the hang on and  I have no problem setting up with four sticks, since I got the Hang on I never use my climber.

I have both the lone wold hand climber 2 combo, and the line wolf assault 2 hang on. The public land I hunt has lots of nice trees for the climber, and since I can't leave my stand in I use my climber. The forest preserve I hunt as part of a management program has few and far between straight limbless trees. I can hang a stand for entirety of my season. This year from November 13th to January 14th. Right now my climber is sitting in a nice pine tree behind an apple tree. I can see all and none can see me. I like how my climber is all one setup, it's fast and quite. I like the feel of my hang on better. It feels more solid and it's not as.mucb a workout. Plus if I drop my bow....it happens. I only have to climb down and hook my hoist back up. Not climb my climber all the way down, and go all the way back up.

I use a hang on stand in public hunting places, only if i know there are not any sign of people hunting the area. When i do my scouting before season, i look for trash like snack wrappers and such. Also i look at trees that i think would be good to hunt out of and check for teeth marks from a climbing stand. I also have been known to hunt deep like a mile in. It is nice to have a prehung stand allready in place. I use my climber any where else. It is very versital. Also screw in steps are less noticable and i like to camo my stand in with fresh tree trimmings as well.

I've been eyeing lonewolf for awhile now and was wondering with the climber you have right now, how do you like it for an all day sit? Would you recommend it for an all day sit? Or would you prefer the ones with the deeper seating? Thank you

If I am going somewhere, hunting signs and not sure of what I'm going to find, I use the hang - on/sticks.  If I'm hunting a place I know has a lot of good climbing trees for a short sit....  I will usually take the assault hand climber.  One in the winter when the air is dry and cover scarce I like the to hand climber because it will get me higher to hide my profile/scent.

Great video, but how do you secure your stands during the season?

I just got me a hang on . Because my lat stand got stolen last year on public land . So I have got me a cheap 50 buck hanging stand and took some old weathered pallet wood and then cut down 2 trees size of a soft ball around nailed the pallet wood to make me a lat for my hang on stand then painted it with camo and stashed it under the leaves on the way to my spot that way when deer season comes my later will be smelling of the woods and be more nurtral and easy to put up when I'm in my stand then put away when not in use to maybe make it where my new stand can't be stolen .

a climber stand is useless. Lone wolf assault or AKA hangon is only way to go. My setup is, one lonewolf assault with 4 sticks and two cheap ass $40 hangons from wally. I leave my wally hangons out in field but in my furthest choke points so that i carry only the sticks to there. My lonewolf assault on the other hand, that's for big bucks. I carry that bad boy into tickets brush and nastiest trees where the big bucks pass through to the cornfield.  Reason being is, you don't hang stand on a buck trail in public land because they will never go through there again if they see a stand on a tree. Big bucks in public land are highly nocturnal and masters of using the wind in there defense. If you want kill a mature buck in public land, you gotta be a step ahead of them.
