Another thing about the Xmen, that First class touched on but no other Xmen film has since, is that the X Men are essentially trained to have the skillsets of super spys unilateral of their powersets. They have advanced technology outside of the jet, and they are trained to have contingency for both other mutant powers as well as antimutant weapon contingency. Thats what the danger room is about. The X Men is essentially the Bat family but each has a power.
