These types of allegations that are brought up years later, kind of gives people the "ok" to seek charges against past issues. Gee....maybe I should look up past relationships to see what I can gain. So sad to try to do have moved on!.

This is a brilliant article, making the excellent point that a person is innocent until proven guilty. The JD/AH case should have been a reminder of this to all those who jumped to conclusions. I believe that in the case of AH, the whole thing began as a blackmailing tactic she cooked up with her group of friends who were freeloading off JD and living rent free in his property. The photo of her laughing with her friend Rocky Pennington reminds me of two schoolgirls giggling together after they have done a prank and believe they have got away with it. Then along came the Me Too Movement. AH saw her chance to become a poster child for this movement, and hence the op ed. She saw this as an opportunity to be seen as a real life Superwoman survivor of DV and to elevate her career and her status at the expense of JD. It backfired spectacularly. JD is now Superman. I believe Ashley Smithline's motives were similar to AH's. Since the Virginia trial verdict these type of women now realise that they can't just make allegations without proof.

This article is not accurate in that he has not won the case just an aspect of the case. He is not back on track because you still have ERW lawsuit pending and a Jane Doe that no one knows who it is. The Attorney on YT that has been following the case closely, Southern Law, said it will probably be another year or two at least.
