If you think about it, time is money and money is in fact pizza...she has a point there

From Emmy Award-winning executive producers Greg Daniels and Michael Schur, "Parks and Recreation" is a hilarious ensemble comedy that follows Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), a mid-level bureaucrat in the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana, and her tireless efforts to make her quintessentially American town just a little bit more fun.

I love how basically everyone in the Parks department adopted April and Andy.

And in turn April and Andy adopted Ethel Beavers as their grandma.

My take-away: "Pizza is knowledge."

April's great. Aubrey Plaza and the writers did a great job with the character. It could have easily become one-note, "I don't care about anything", but her enjoyment of messing with people gave her an excuse to play around and do different things.

April is an intelligent but unmotivated person. She becomes motivated when she is able to express herself creatively or when she has an opportunity to screw with someone. I always thought she would have been an excellent PR adviser for Leslie, her sick and twisted mind would be excellent for mudslinging campaigns.

April is the embodiment of the voice in my head. I can't really put into words how much I love that character, and what a fantastic job Aubrey did with her.

April and Donna, a duo we didn't see enough of.
I recall they partied in Costa Rica or Puerto Rico together in one of the early seasons.

As a teacher, she reminds me of gifted students. Smart, high aptitude, clever, witty. But if not challenged/given interests, they get bored and disruptive. She’s apathetic because she hasn’t found what she is passionate about, that was her arc when she began working with Ben

April is weird, but she knows how to work people and come out on top.😉💜
Love that Ron and April don’t even have their hats on all the way like Chris because they don’t want to be there.🤣

When I first watched this show I was like “how can someone go that long without making a doctors appointment?”
I was a teenager and my mom made all my appointments…. I now understand and desperately need a dentist

First saw her in Criminal minds. The show struggled in the aftermath of Emily's death coverup and never seemed to get on the right track. But practically the only exception was her episodes. She played the other side of the Spencer Reid coin spectacularly well, and gave life to a show that shot themselves in the foot more often than not. She was a natural. She's a natural here too. Some people have an "it" factor at what they do. She is one of them

I like how even though she seems careless, she's still supportive, insecure, and caring for her friends.

I love that April isn’t afraid to say the quiet parts out loud

She's really smart for someone who does not care.

I never noticed before this video that Donna purrs when she hugs April in the "spirit dog" scene

"There are only three ways to motivate people. Money, fear and hunger."

That's... very dark and disturbingly accurate.

“You can’t eat the biscuits, if you dont pay for the flower” that was incredibly profound. God. I was once lost but now i’m finally found!

That “money, fear and hunger” line by Ron is insane 🔥

When Ron said "I predicted I will learn nothing" and opened the envelope I absolutely lost it 🤣

Made my bloody day.

April is probably the best character on the show, and that's saying a lot given how great all the characters are.
