What Makes Cheydinhal Special?

Welcome to my favorite city! That's right, Cheydinhal is my favorite city in Oblivion.

I really like Cheydinhal. It's home to the Dark Brotherhood, has a quest where you go inside of a painting, and you also have the cool design. Part of my love of Cheydinhal is defiantly the design of the place. I use the shops here, and also sometimes make it a priority to do the quests. The location next to Dive Rock is also convenient too!

Cheydinhal just feels like the warmest and most peaceful place in all of Cyrodiil despite it being home to the dark brotherhood. Cheydinhal is a sin city masquerading as a sanctuary, that’s what makes it special imo

The Cheydinhal home was the first house I ever bought in Cyrodiil, and still the best in my opinion, I don't even know how I managed to afford it, I guess I just didn't buy any new equipment or spells for a long time, sadly the ability to purchase a house in Cheydinhal came at the cost of Aldos Othran, the drunk Dunmer who sings about Cliff Racers, being murdered by an angry guard, but I saved Hil the Tall from Umaril's forces so at least he's still around. I was also pleasantly surprised to discover the Dark Brotherhood had been living in the same county as me far longer than I was even aware.

Most notable thing about this city is the painted troll fat. Its the only of its kind you find in the painting. And that quest about the quest for assassin guild is skingrad.

It's been a time since I've played this game and so far I've put 20 hours into just doing Chorral and Cheydinhal quests. I really love both of them and I can't wait to meet the other cities. I really want to live in Cheydinhal but I wish the house stood out more on the outside. I'd much prefer the house in the southeast corner of the city with the huge porch

Cheydinhal is also my favorite city. It was the first city I ever visited because I thought the name was cool, then I discovered the Dark Brotherhood completely on accident.

This one used to be my favorite but it looks a lot like northern Europe. Not sure of I still love the aesthetic but I do like the cylinder castle look.

I do agree with tour opinion. Cheydinhall is the most memeorabel city to me because I love the dark brotherhood and because of the Rivel in it. Also I have a question, what is the most powerfull spell that you can make. I have been experimenting and I always feel like I could do better. I do not care how much magicka it costs as long as it is lower than 800.i am currently doing an pure mage playthrough, I am already level 50 and I just want a spell that obliterates mostly everything. Thanks.
