I remember reading about this album way back in early 2001....the reviewers commenting about how old they felt...reflecting on the salad days of Alice in it's the middle of 2017 and a significantly greater amount of time has passed since then, even greater than 1989 to I feel old at 40

Back in the 2000s i used to visit CD shops most weekends to check for records from my favorite bands; because annihilator were relatively unknown in the UK I generally couldn't find their stuff. When i was depressed about my mum making me throw away an opeth album (deliverance)- i found a double pack of this and waking the fury.

These quickly became my favorite albums. I still miss this lineup- particularly the more organic feel of Randy Blacks drumming.
