Let me know how much of a shill or blind fanboy I am for making this video in the comment section as obviously, that is the only explainable way my opinion is that way.

I'd say say no it didn't, BUT it did deserve the criticism it received.

It could have been better but the reaction from gamers was honestly a big overreaction. This kind of feedback scares most devs because some feel they have to play their games safe and most games today that play it TOO safe often become "ok" game. I just hope devs won't see it that way. Instead still try new ideas and surprise fans and gamers.

I really appreciate this. I've been really annoyed of those guys who are like: "Yeah blah blah I don't need to play a game to know it's bad" Glad you're recognizing this as well.

After my 1st play though I reviewed the game pointing out what I liked what I didn't and my overall opinion and gave it a 7/10, the amount of crap I got for giving an above average score was unbelievable ranging from people telling me I was simply lying all the way to people asking me how much Bioware was paying me to say positive things, I couldn't believe it, this game has had so much shit thrown at it both pre and post release and It doesn't deserve it, I ranked it as my 3rd favourite Mass Effect game and now after 3 play throughs and about 250+ hours in game its actually my 2nd, the game grows on you and I really hope that once the dust has settled and Bioware get Anthem & DA4 out of the way a sequel can finally see the light of day because this game has laid the foundation for a great series.

Thank you. I'm so tired of seeing people say the game is shit, and if you like it, you're what's wrong with gaming community. This game got COD level of hate before it even game out

This is one of the most soulless games I've ever played and it pissed me off even more because I love this franchise and this game put it on hold and basically killed it fuck

I love the mass effect series but in andromeda the immersion just got broken too many times for me to enjoy. Many games have there problems and break immersion like in fallout 4 when I'm really into the game and then I see a tire floating. And I'm like TIRES DON'T FLOAT!!! Not with out a tire tube or the rim still on to trap the air but even after 200+ years the air would have freaking leaked out!! Anyway back to andromeda. I am glad andromeda got the heat it did cause I am really really looking forward to anthem and I believe that after andromeda Bioware and EA will do a better job on anthem.

When you said about youtubers jumping on the bandwagon it immediately remind me of two youtubers. Videogamedunkey and Crowbcat. Both ESPECIALLY Dunkey love jumping on bandwagons to get views. I can't remember one video where he doesn't always agree with the massive crowd blindly and it's annoying.

I am absolutely disappointed with Andromeda but what I don't like is when youtubers and trolls jump in the conversation and ACT like they know what they are talking about. People who I know who jumped on the bandwagon only played one Mass Effect game or never played any of the games at all. It's basically this *"HAHA the game sucks because everyone else said it is and I'm gonna form a hollow opinion because I heard what a person or friend told me about it! ...am I cool now?"*

It's that high school mentality where he said she said and a crowd follows blindly and not fully understand what's REALLY going on. People who do that I always tell them this... you're not criticizing or understanding the same way as I am.

My criticisms with this game is that I find it a shame of what agreements and disagreements the team had behind the scenes that made this game today. They let a young team take on one of the most memorable RPGs in the industry and they blew it. Or better yet they didn't respect it in some aspects. They paid homage and they know what some Mass Effect fans love but they didn't use their time and team effort to bring us a proper and more understanding Mass Effect game. That to me feel like they didn't respect of what they were given.

The insert agendas, the off character choices made by producers and probably writers, and time they didn't use to make the game more polish but instead having no eye to eye vision of creating a game together.

I read the interview as to why it wasn't as successful as we hoped and I believed every word the dev said because I can see what happened just by looking at it and playing it.

This is my opinion and not some blind bandwagon by some greedy youtuber or troll who tries to be edgy.

You know what would have stopped people making fun of Andromeda?
By being a good game.

As a huge Mass Effect fan, I enjoyed the game. But even I noticed some issues with it that shouldn't have been there in the first place. Nevertheless, I appreciate Bioware for trying to fix these mistakes, and I definitely think that they shouldn't get shit for trying to improve the game.

I do not know if it deserve the amount of hate it got, but most of it certainly was not on the right direction.

The game quickly became a joke and it's defenders also focused mostly on that jokes. But the game has serious issues (technical and otherwise), most will not be fixed in patches.

If I had to choose, I would say it deserved the hate. This was supposed to be a game and there are standards. A mediocre / passable game is not enough. But the focus of the complaints (given by the people mentioned in the video and by the defenders of the game) is not where it should be.

Yes, you are a fanboy (and I am ok with that). Yes. It deserved ALL of the criticism. There were HIGH expectations for this game. And although it was not "trash" (I gave it a 7.5) it certainly was released under substandard quality. This is a TRIPLE A game, from a TRIPLE A studio. They (Bioware) should have EXCEEDED all goals concerning this game.Having played all 3 mass effects, this game does not provide the engaging immersive experience I felt when I played the original ME's 1 thru 3. It (Andromeda) was a letdown. A disappointment. In short, it failed to live up to expectations. PERIOD.

I don't think the game deserved the blind hate but I don't think any credible reviewer could give the game higher than a 5-6 out of 10 at launch. Also, if the Writing had been tightened up most of the launch criticism wouldn't have held up because after awhile players could have fallen back on an excellent story and word of mouth to keep interest up. Most people don't play Mass Effect for the graphics but the animations were so bad they became mainstream news and immersion breaking. At this point all of the improvements are too little too late especially with no word on new DLC or a sequel. The botched launch essentially made the game DOA.

9/10. Has some funny bugs but all in all it's a fantastic game. I recommend it to everyone.

No it didn't. In fact the level of improvement that has been brought about with the latest patches. Had it been in the base game we wouldn't even be having this conversation. The writing was quirky, the animations not that good and the pace wasn't right. All these together gave a lot of trouble and that was the reason for this hatred. Should bioware have addressed these issues and maybe shipped the game late yes ( not their decision I presume ) but should they be receiving this level of hatred. Certainly not, all the more reason for fans to stick with the developer. As many memorable events mass effect has given us so too have there been a few problems. We as fans will always stand by it look where things went wrong and move forward. Here is hoping Anthem is the game that blows everyone away and personally I hope mass effect returns bigger and better 😊
