I cant believe that every media outlet has missed the fact that Barnes rugby tackled Matip off the ball from a long ball and that Jota was picked up and body slammed while protecting the ball. These are the wrestling moves Klopp is talking about not a heavy tackle etc. But I guess the truth doesn't make a good story and rival fans don't have something to moan about.

Klopp and Dyche have beef with each other every single season. It’s becoming an annual thing 😂
But… it’s unbelievable that Jim White was at Anfield Saturday and hasn’t said a word about Jota being closelined on the halfway line by Gudmanson who threw him 3 foot back to the floor 😂😂 no yellow card given 😵‍💫🤔

Klopp sometimes gets lost in translation, what he was trying to say was what does letting the game flow mean? does it include someone getting ragged like a doll while trying head the ball mid air. Barnes at one point grabbed someone in a head lock mid air lol

The bloke called out salah for diving not long ago 😂

All Klopp said was let’s think about what ‘let the game flow’ means!
To use Jordan’s term referees need to determine what ‘robust’ means.
I don’t think Klopp has an issue with contact in the game but there needs to be a line that can’t be crossed in the interest of protecting players.

If I'm not mistaken didn't the Burnley guy pick someone up and throw them. That isn't allowing play to flow surley. I get the flow bit, it's not a license to wrestle

Klopps not advocating taking the physicality out of football he's pulling up Burnley and that spanner Dyche because his team for 90 mins attempted coutless rough tackles and some very dangerous one's that could have ended up with player being injured for long term. But because the media have an agenda against Klopp now he's being made out to be the bad guy.

So, I can safely assume you guys haven't watched how Burnley players bundled Jota and Matip in that match....

Liverpool's players handle it well, matip and vvd were more than a match for Burnley's forwards. Easy work

The spear in from behind on Jota 10 yards off the ball was exactly what football needs wasn't it...ffs

Burnley broke Liverpool’s Gomez’s leg a few years ago, when did Liverpool break a Burnley players leg???

I'm all for physical football and allowing a game to flow, but blatant and dangerous fouling in that particular game over-steeped the boundaries and was very different to every other game the last 2 weeks. It's clear that pundits and journalists don't watch a full 90 minute game back and to a proper and honest analysis. It seems like there's a narrative everyone has to follow. Some of the fouls on Harvey Elliot, Van Dijk, Matip and Jota were pretty awful and over the top. And no I'm not a Liverpool Fan - Just someone who's becoming very disconnected with mainstream punditry and journalism around the PL.

I think Klopp was pissed because Burnley were playing the man rather than the ball. I don't think Klopp has any issue with referees waving play-on for hard robust challenges, but letting the game flow doesn't = anything goes either. That's the nuance which has been buried 6ft under this debate, because otherwise the narrative wouldn't be as easy for the media to run with. "Is Klopp wrong about the PL's refreshingly laxed rules?" sells a lot more than "were Burnley a bit too rough on Liverpool even all things considered?"

Didn't you see Ben Mee's rugby challenge. 😂😂😂
Let the game flow 😂

Lol this decision has knocked half of Grealish’s value off since that’s a huge part of his game😂😂😂😂

The new direction to try cut our cheap fouls is good and allows more flow and action. But this will in some way affect most teams at some point so as long as other managers and fans then accept things that don't go their way.

I was at Anfield and the fouls on Matip and Jota were clear fouls, they were wrestled to the ground FFS! Dyche then says they should have had a pen! So he thinks wrestling players to the ground is ok but a shoulder barge is a pen?🤡

Klopp is right on every level. People saying Its ok for burnley to play like cavemen because thats their “style” ? What a load of 💩. If liverpool played the way burnley did we would have had gotten yellow cards and given away free kicks everywhere. But because its burnley its alright. Its wrong in every aspect you cant excuse a team from being thugs on the pitch because thats the only way they can play. Behave. Gomez got his leg broke by burnley. Van dijk done his cruciate by pickford being “robust”.
