Thank you!!! Just untwisted them and then switched between 1, 2, 3 and 4 until they were in the right spots to work!

The four wires attached to terminals 1 and 2 come from the two sensors that stop the door from closing on an object or person. It clearly says that the two wall control wires go to terminals 3 and 4, but doesn't show them there in the picture. I suspect they omitted them in the picture so they could show how to use the screwdriver to capture the wires in the terminals.

No red light inside the up/down button. The series II wall controller works fine though. If when looking at the back wire connections, I hooked up red wire left/white wire right. Can I leave the wires 'wrong' if I do not want the red light on? Would that cause any problems later down the road? Thank You!

0:30 only shows 4 wires. The two wires from the console still go to 3 and 4?

Good catch. Follow the text instruction, not the image, and it fixes the problem with wall switch.

Set up my opener but I can’t seem to get the door to close from the wall switch without having to hold the button and the garage remotes will open but won’t shut the door any ideas??

Same problem for me - instructions were very misleading and figured it out on my own. It's strange tho that the rest light always stays on. To me, red signifies as issue - I wish the light on the button was white or something.

Those are photo cell wires. The control wires are not shown.

My lights on opener go out. As they are supposed to do.
