As a Cameroonian student watching this live back in 2013, I felt very proud of President Kenyatta's brutally honest response. It really is a non-issue for us

In Africa it doesn't matter if you live in a palace. If you enter another man's house, you're under his household rules and protection. So him opening the pitch with "I have been consistent with this... " trying to exert authority in another man's house was a sure way to get himself shut down. African people can't stand it irregardless of what you'll say.

Leave the Kenyan's to run their own country. They are a democracy so can decide for themselves what is right and wrong.

Come back and say this again when African Americans are treated equally in the US... until it’s best you leave Africa to Africans.

Imagine the audacity! Telling another country how to lead it own people. Leave Kenya alone. How can you bring a first world problem to a third world country. He should take a leaf out of Kenya's book and focus on educating young citizens because Kenya has a higher adult literacy rate than USA.

Kenyans were soft on him because of the title n power he carried at that time. During his previous visit after retiring, he did not dare mention those nonsense coz people here were willing n ready to fearlessly shut him down.

I have never seen something more stupid. How can you go to recovering and developing countries and try to force gay rights on them while said countries are still trying to improve life for the majority. If only he had this sort of care towards the people of Syria and Libya

Am a Kenya. Do gays get arrested in Kenya. Have never heard or seen. As a matter of fact we don't even discuss them.

He has a good point tho. Since when is gay rights more important than creating jobs, helping out the country etc..? I know that's important too but what's not their biggest issue.

Im Black American and I don't care to talk about "gay rights". It does nothing progressive or positive for what's important in life

I think Obama should keep his opinions to himself. We have bigger problems in Africa and he’s over here talking about gay rights 🤦🏽‍♀️

We know that the person we used to be was crucified with him to put an end to sin in our bodies. Because of this we are no longer slaves to sin. 7 The person who has died has been freed from sin.

If the law is not following the natural rule by itself, we african do not accept it as a law in the first place due to it is misleading the nature or corrupt the nature. "Be being nice is not done by destroying the gifts of God and His nature the first rule is bible. GLORY TO AFRICAN God.

WE MUST RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE CHOICES BUT THERE ARE MORALS AND VALUES TO HONOR.

explaining equity to kenyatta is a waste of time. "more important matters" to him are his offshore investments.
