For those worried about "spoilers", getting to the dragon is literally spelled out in the first few moments of the game. Showing the last boss really isn't the spoiler you think it is, and a very minor one at that.

Remnant was an unexpected gem, which is probably why they moved this so it was more mainstream and not just VR. Haven't tried this yet, but will probably give it a go when the price drops.

Sounds like the fact that it was VR originally impacted not only the combat, but also the graphics. Compared with Remnant, it looks pretty mediocre.

Fair review. This game doesn't seem to have ported well. I think they could have put the work in to bump up the speed of the overall game if they were going to be charging 2/3 of the price of the Remnant base game at launch.
And to those complaining of the "Last Boss Spoiler", please know that this is a 5 year old game and that the last boss of Chronos is one of the first bosses of Remnant.

Oh, hearing that this was supposed to be VR is heartbreaking. THAT sounds like a great game. This game just looks alright.

I'm hoping to see a "enter at 18, finish the game at 18" ending.
Presumably your character can die permanently of old age before succeeding their quest after all.

Just started playing this game from the new Playstation extra list. I loved Remnant, so it's cool seeing their first venture like this. There's a certain quality to the camera and controls that definitely feels disconnected and patched to fit consoles rather than VR. Overall I'm enjoying it, and wouldn't mind seeing them expand on the melee fantasy side more in their next game if we don't get a successor / sequel to remnant.

Played this not knowing its supposed to be a prequel. Super confused about the ending but apparently it makes more sense when you play the first game. Maybe I'll look into it

this looks incredibly slow paced, remnant was really fun tho played it from start to finish coop with a friend

Okay, so I just downloaded this for PS4.

- Not a labyrinth, pretty straight forward, bit of backtracking but no real brainteasers or deadly traps.

- Combat/Controls are basically Dark Souls for babies.

- Everything is soooo frigging sloooow and the loading times, GAWD!!! I haven't seen this many loading screens since Sonic 06!

Also, turns out in the Oculus VR version, the combat/movement is much much faster and had fix camera angles like the old Resident Evil games. so yeah, this new Non-VR version is a slow, lumbering but pretty slug of a game
