KJV KEY WORDS | Jesus explains: THE EAGLES | Matt24:28 | 040

BEWARE: The Greek word for “eagle” is αετός. The Greek word for “vulture” is όρνιο. Beware, because some Bible Help translators incorrectly state that αετός means vulture.
Jesus explains, In Matthew Chapter 24 of your King James Bible, there appears a mysterious verse that says, For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together (See Matt24:28 KJV). Unfortunately, some modern Bible versions have changed the KEY WORD ‘eagles’ to ‘vultures, and thereby the translators have robbed the reader of the meaning that I am trying to convey to you in this verse (Matt24:28 KJV). Some have even gone as far as to say this passage is speaking about the fowls of prey that are gathered together to the supper of the great God, to feast on the flesh of those killed at the battle of Armageddon (See Rev19:11 to Rev20:3 KJV). But this is not what the passage of Matthew 24:28 is speaking about (See Matt24:28 KJV). Allow me to explain and speak to you plainly (See Jn16:25 KJV). Concerning my appearing in the clouds to gather my elect, I said, For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be (Matt24:27 KJV). Then immediately following, I spoke those words, For wheresover the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together (Matt24:28 KJV). And then I spoke concerning the Rapture, saying, Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other (Matt24:29-31 KJV And see Rev6:12-13 KJV). For wheresover I AM, there will the resurrected saints be gathered together (See Matt24:28 KJV). For then shall it be fulfilled that which was spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying, But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isa40:31 KJV). What … does it shock you that I would speak of myself as the carcase? (Matt24:28 KJV). Did I not say, Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day (See Jn6:53 KJV). Surely, I say to you that when you receive your resurrected body, you shall be able to fly like the eagle, and you shall run and not be weary; and walk and not faint (Isa40:31 KJV). This passage has been hard to understand.
I see 2 different gatherings.
One - For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. (May. 24:28)
The other when when Jesus returns and gathers his elect.

And 👉🏻then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (May. 24:30-31)

I still have a doubt. Please help. In Isaiah 40:31 it says those who wait upon the Lord will soar on the wings like eagles. So would Jesus equate the eagle mentioned in OT (which symbolizes strength, patience, courage, awareness and an attitude to fly above all) to a scavenger?
Also, only particular eagles (like the bald eagle) are carrion birds.
So could someone please help me in understanding Matt 24:28. Thanks and God bless🙏🏽

31 "And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."

This is the rapture and if we have wings then why do the angels have to gather us together from the four winds?
