Jim Ross went out and cut an awesome promo about how Vince McMahon fired him after he was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy. It was great! Unfortunately at the end of that promo, he had to introduce fake Razor 😂😂😂

the real reason WWF cast new people as Razor and Diesel was the lawsuit between the 2 companies about how Hall & Nash came over as basically the Razor/Diesel characters without naming them specifically because the characters were so identified with Hall & Nash. So they put new guys in the roles, it flopped super hard and gave more credibility to WWF's case in court. It was eventually settled with the caveat being WWF could bid first on WCW if it was ever going to be put up for sale.

It was a petty stunt (one of many by Vince) this one totally blew up in their face. He didn't want to offer Nash nor Hall more money to stay and yet he does this.
