Summer is here and our plants need to grow faster! That's Why we decided to build fast a small green house. In tomorrows video we will show an update of the mini green house and also how much our vegetables have grown!
Sad news about one of the baby Storks.

Make sure you subscribe to follow our daily lives in this farm!

Hey to everyone!!
We are two young adults, Despina 23 and Deivids 24 renovating an old farm house from 1817 in Latvia. Everything in and out of our house has been done by ourselves with no hired help. Soooo far everything is going great and there haven't been any incidents.
DIY is going to apply to nearly everything in our house. Our budget is tight and that has made us appreciate every "ugly" part of this house and turn it into something new and beautiful.
We give new life to things that others would throw away!

In this journey we are not alone! We are starting up our little Farmily and part of it are
3 Goats & 2 Baby Goats
1 Mom Sheep & 2 Baby Sheep
4 chickens
1 Rooster
1 Goose
Oh yeah and my cat Ivi

Despite our daily problems we are two young people full of joy and happiness, ready to start a new crazy chapter in our life. It wouldn't be fair to keep this fun for us!
that's why we want YOU to be also part of our Farmily!!

Hope you enjoy our video!

The countryside is so beautiful! There you go again. What most people would throw away, you guys are making something very beneficial from. YOU ARE JUST SO RESOURCEFUL!! I'm old enough to be your grandmother and I would adopt you both. Thanks for making us all smile.

You could keep the tops of the bottles you cut off and put it over the seedlings to keep pew pew off. Like a mini greenhouse. 😊

Latvia is so flat. Just like Denmark. I am used to mountains everywhere. Well here it is more small mountains and hills but still. Latvia is a very beautiful country. :) As I said earlier. Slowly adjusting the plants. Many days in shadow fist then evening or morning sun. It is to strong. The fail might have to do with that you handled them with the stem replanting them. Alway only touch the leaves. I meant to say earlier that you should make a p.o box. It will help. Knowing where to send a suprise gift would be nice. :) And you got a very nice gift as well. :) Greenhouse looks good. it will help for sure. :) Sad that the stork is loosing babies. Huggies. :)

I know I'm too late to the party, but for next year....plants you start indoors must be "hardened off" slowly to get use to the outside sun and wind. I start by putting them outside for about an hour, then a couple hours the next day, then 3 or 4 hours the following day...until I have them outside all day. It takes about a week or two to harden them off. The sunlight is so bright for them after living inside that if you do it all at once, they may sunburn and die. Even if you grow them in the greenhouse (which is wonderful, by the way!!) they also need to get used to the wind, which can dehydrate their leaves and turn them white and kill the plant. I LOVE your videos and how hard you work! Hugs to you both and good luck!
