Inkscape Tutorial on Thickening Lines and Changing Colors (Sewing Pattern Specific)

Hi sewists! Here is a tutorial with easy and step-by-step instructions on how I change pattern lines in Inkscape.

I've been struggling all day trying to figure out how to use Inkscape, and yours are the first series of videos I've run across that shows how to do exactly what I want to do in a way that I can understand. So you can't change it when you actually drawing you have to do it after which really is a pain all the softwares including paint on windows which is the most simple you can change it when you drawing but Inkscape decide it that that was not necessary your video is great thanks

The best. I have been struggling with not being able to change the lines. So do I select box by box on the pattern? What makes the box? I am not using PDF. I use projector AO patterns.

How did you get the layers to show up? When I import I see Layer 1 only
