This only work if you're in a 'One on One' fight. In the game files, your Petrificus Totalus is a stealth spell which only usable when you're in an "Out of combat" state. Unlike the ranger's Petrificus Totalus where they can snipe you with this spell in combat.

I did see a bug on a defeated and despawned enemy, I got the petrify prompt where their corpse vanished so not sure if some spells bug out on weird status enemies. I don't even use the imperius curse. Funny though, might start using it for more annoying enemies, though spamming potions and plants is also hilarious, especially when the goblins get angry about dying to vegetables.

Actually, works with any temporal incapacitation spell, like glacius or leviosa, (held accio? arresto momentum?) i believe. But your enemy must be the last one standing against you for the game to consider you in a "out of combat" state for that to work.

If there's this non-lethal takedown after disarming the wizard enemies, they should add _bounty-hunting missions_ like RDR 2.

Disarm the rogue wizards and witches, take them down non-lethally via _petrificus, _ then contact Officer Singer to haul them away to Azkaban or something.

The idea of a fifth year student doing bounty-hunting is quite absurd, I know- but think about it.
