Żeby zrozumieć sens "Roty" trzeba choć trochę znać historię Polski. Tekst napisała nasza wielka poetka Maria Konopnicka w czasie, gdy Polska została wymazana z mapy Europy. Przez 123 lata nasze państwo nie istniało. Byliśmy w tym czasie pod zaborami trzech państw: Rosji, Prus ( dzisiejszych Niemiec) i Austrii. Przez te wszystkie lata zwalczania polskości przez zaborców udało nam się przetrwać jako naród z naszym językiem, kulturą, zwyczajami :)
To bardzo ważna pieśń dla każdego Polaka, jak drugi hymn narodowy:) Ja, gdy ją słucham zawsze się wzruszam. Pozdrawiam Z Polski:)

Our land is our home, our future... a future for our children because they are the most important part of our future. I recommend listening to one more patriotic song. Polish Military Song - Czerwone maki na Monte Cassino (Red poppies on Monte Cassino)
This is one of the best-known Polish military songs of World War II. It was composed in May 1944 in Italy, during the Battle of Monte Cassino, on the eve of the Polish Army's capture of the German stronghold.
