The first Photoshop tutorial what i can make by follow what in the video.. most of the guy who make tutorials, those photoshop are custom made by setting, never find a lot's of settings, or buttons, because my photoshop is a default, not customized. After rendering, my background color does not change accurately (full background color) just change the 3d text or icon background-color. what is that problem

hi! this tutorial is amazing to follow but i'm having one problem when it comes to rendering, the shadows get very grainy and it looks awful, i did research and found you can change your 3D preferences to make it work, but with more research found that 3D preferences doesn't exist anymore. any idea how to get rid of the grain? or maybe find 3D preferences somewhere?
