Our Favorite Trans-Am Build EVER Spins 10,000rpm and Now Makes 808hp

Some of you are no strangers to Riley Stair’s insane Trans-Am, that all of us chose as our favorite build in all of SEMA 2018. But that was two years ago, and a builder on Riley’s caliber doesn’t just rest on the laurels of winning Hoonigan’s yearly one hour special. This thing has continued to evolve and get driven properly.

I loved the 8-to-1 headers but you can't ignore 90hp from a tuned exhaust system

Growing up, our neighbor had a ~1000hp car like that (I forget what exactly) that he built for drag racing. Once a month or so he would take the car out in his driveway to tune it and such... It was loud you could not have a conversation while inside. But it sounded just like this trans am. Love it.

Riley is a very humble kid. It's awesome to see the young generation loving what they do. And props to his parents for supporting his dreams instead of trying to tell him what to do.

Being a Brit there are too many US cars that float my boat but I’ve always loved the look of these things. Adding the race car look makes it just perfect to my eyes. Kudos to the guy for such a great build.

I showed my dad the first video of this and he immediately thought the exhaust was all wrong. Went on a long speech about tuned length headers and the old Vanwall formula one cars. I’m kinda scared to show him this one cuz he’d be proven right.
