I commented about how the Indian women's team often collapses at the end of the second game. But do they have an idea or a plan to revive the innings if and when they find themselves for example at 50 for 5 after 10 overs.
I must admit and give credit to Deepti, Richa and Pooja for their intent and determination to try and score runs towards the end of the innings.
I would like to see Deepti come in when Smriti is out and captain Kaur bat at No 5.I think Kaur needs to be a little less aggressive at the beginning of her innings. If she is there after the 14th or 15th over, then she could try and find every ball for a boundary. She should accept the role of the finisher and be the rock to stabilize the middle and lower order like what Mithali Raj used to do.
If they pursue a plan like this, then I think that they can post a competitive total.
