God’s righteousness becomes infused in us in a created manner though. When God declares us righteous we actually become it, just as if God says “let there be light” then there is light. So we had a fallen nature from Adam, but with Christ we are taken from the Old Man and put into the new nature, that being the one of Christ (Romans 5)
