O Divine Redeemer - Piano Accompaniment

O Divine Redeemer by Charles Gounod. This is the good-tempo piano accompaniment for soprano voice.
After practicing a song an endless number of times, it's actually really hard for me to regulate the tempo of a song on my own (typically, I just know it well enough to follow the solist's lead, no matter how fast or slow). It's the amateur in me coming out.

Unfortunately, the tempo is still too fast in the beginning--and now the refrain is too slow. "Night gathers round" is fine; I'm afraid I have to agree that the tempi don't quite work.

It's ok, however still needs better interpretation and not too banging and or mechanical

The O Divine part was honestly too slow. I would die on the vine singing it at that tempo.
