Paling sebel pas denger pengadaan Mirage 2000 bekas Qatar sih, , selain karena pesawatnya bekas, ada aja orang yang bilang pengadaan Mirage bertujuan untuk membiasakan diri dengan produk Francis biar gak kaget pas mengoperasikan Rafale, kan ga nyambung yak.

It's better to reconsider the plan to bought that Mirage. The third one will probably be the Sukhois' overhaul program

The OPV is kinda more weaponized than even the Diponegoro and Bung Tomo class corvettes. That might be okay, since these ships have the same size class: 90 meters. I really hope they can finally retire Pattimura and Fatahillah class (Pattimura's RBU-6000 can be installed on new ASW corvettes in the future. Hope the shipbuilders can design and build one. If they don't, I'll do it myself)

They are still going ahead with the wasteful spending on the air force. If they stick with the TA/FA-50, F-16 and Rafale for now and replace the F-16 with the KF-21 eventually they will save a lot of money on maintenance and infrastructure cost. Just up the purchase of the Rafale to 24 and dump the Mirage 2000. That would add much more capabilities at much lower cost. If they need a short term buy do what Poland did and add some FA-50 block 20. The addition of the F-15EX can be understood but the Mirage 2000 has no place in any future air force as it is difficult to get spares even for major users like India.

The OPV are great news no Chinese equipment and everything medium to high technology. As China can't be trusted like every dictatorship it lies and cheats trying to get everyone to do their bidding. The USAF base in the Northern Territory will keep the region safe from any PLAN misadventures to the nort of Australia.
