With financial support from the New York City Council District, the Primary Care Development Corporation (PCDC) produced an FY22 report that explores primary care access and equity with data from New York City's Council Districts.
The Primary Care Development Corporation recently hosted a webinar highlighting its new data brief indicating that better availability of primary care in a New York City neighborhood correlates with better health outcomes (including COVID-19 outcomes), with district-by-district information to help inform New York City Council Members and staff. PCDC's Evaluation and Analytics team also provided an overview of PCDC's Primary Care Safety-net Access project and free resources on primary care access across New York City. PCDC also shared information about a new partnership with the Wells Fargo Foundation, investing in primary care workforce development programs to encourage people from diverse backgrounds to seek training and provide care in their communities.
Speakers:
Angela Allard, MPH, Evaluation and Analytics Manager
Alexis Simonetti, Health Data Analyst
Ilse Bell, MD, PCME CCE, Senior Program Manager
