SAPL Texana & Genealogy: How-to Fill out Pedigree Charts and Family Group Sheets

Andy Crews and Matt De Waelsche, Archivist/Librarians in the Texana/Genealogy Department, have created this brief video to assist beginning genealogists in filling out these forms.

Pedigree charts and family group sheets are two of the most commonly used forms for recording genealogical research information. Pedigree charts trace direct lineages through parents and grandparents while family group sheets focus on the family unit and provide additional information about children and siblings.
