I like the long rack ear on the CSS610, mainly because I own a CSS326, of which about a third of the switch is empty space, it's still a good switch though.

Beware of CSS610-8G-2S+, it is almost unusable as a managed switch, VLANs being mixed between each other, no management access via SFP+ port, DHCP being dropped, and more.
The so-called RC SwOS that came installed on it, is actually an Alpha version.

I bought this switch two days ago and have had nothing but problems getting VLANs to work properly which is very annoying, hopefully fixed with a firmware update but who knows when that will be! Useless to me until fixed so going back to my old 3com switch for now..

What you not tell your audience is, that Mikrotik delivers this new switch (currently) with a buggy Release Candidate firmware (2.12rc2) and no update possibility. Fine, this switch has two SFP+ and is inexpensive, but do not try to use the SFP+ and think you can still reach the Web-Interface. You can do only: configure it without installed SFP+ modules via one of the Gig-Ports. When you have finished your config, than you can plug in your SFP+ and hopefully do not need a reconfig. No release date for final firmware and no statement about, in which version the SFP+ bug will be fixed. Besides that, it is a good switch. I have many Mikrotik components ... this is the most frustrating one.

Hi there, I'm excited about this switch but that will be nice if you make the SFP+ port to 3 or simply add a 10G-T port.
Because usally as personal core switch nowdays, we need 3 10G ports: 1 for primary PC, 1 for primary 802.11ax Wifi router/AP, and another one for NAS, that's why I need 3 of 10G port.
I do know you have CRS310 which owns 4 SFP+ and 4 SFP port but I still need ethernet port for Apple TV/IPCamera and secondary AP, it's pain in ass if I plug 6+ SFP in the socket, and CRS310 is more expensive than CSS610.
My dream switch for my little home without upgrade in next decade will be the CRS610-6G-4S+IN. Please make it real!!! THANKS A LOT! :)

I want to configure mikrotik by cable on the phone
I plug (lan ethernet to usb type c) then i plug the lan cable i can see the router board on the winbox on phone but i get connection refuse is theres any solution i need to configure sxt or 912 on phone
