My retired Marine Corps hubby and myself practice mindfulness out in nature when we lived full-time van lifestyle for 8 months traveling from CA to FL visiting national parks along the way. We felt so connected with nature and elements of being outside. Daily opportunities to relish in the 5 senses (see, feel, hear, touch, smell). It lead me to more self-awareness programs and the life coaching journey I am on today. We now have a stationary home but regularly drive the van into nature as FL has countless state parks to get lost in so we can keep the mindfulness practice alive. You are so right, people have been practicing mindfulness out in nature under trees for thousands of years. It's different and not as effective when doing it online. Thanks for sharing!
