I've read every article "explaining" this and I truly do not agree with it. There is so much you can do with Veronica being an underdog without killing off Logan. You can show a relationship with Logan supporting Veronica, you can have a strong, independent women with a husband. Logan can help Veronica in many ways. SORRY

I just finished watching the season so I'm still a bit shook. The message Rob is sending with this death really is backfiring on him. It's basically saying women can only be strong and successful when they're alone and single. That being in relationships makes us too emotional and clouds are judgment and makes us weaker because we can't invest the same amount of energy in the non-relationship aspects of our lives because we are too consumed by our relationship. WTF Rob!

This show is fortunate to even still exist and everything about it is fueled by it's following of diehard fan support. Hence, killing off such an awesome character/actor who is a major attraction/reason for that fan support is pretty heartbreaking and just feels wrong. Even if it's for the intended sake of elevating the scope of the show, wasn't really necessary, imo. They done Jason wrong, lol.

This show has such good writing that it surprises me they took the easy way out on this one. You can "cut out the teen drama" and "make veronica the underdog" without just easily killing Logan for shock value. A lot of the reason I loved this show so much was because of Logan and Veronica. I don't know if I'm going to like it as much without them.

I disagree that the LoVe storyline makes it a “teenage drama.” The more teenage aspect of it for me was the “Veronica’s with Duncan! Then Logan! Back to Duncan! Maybe Logan! Now she’s with Piz!” and so on. Having LoVe be a normal couple with ups and downs isn’t “teenage” — I married my HS sweetheart and I assure you, we do not feel like teenagers! And Logan’s job lends itself perfectly to Veronica not having a man at home if that’s their concern. This all feels like a copout or just lazy writing.

Pls bring him back. Women need the strong bond that Logan and Veronica share. They are both strong and have a ton of emotional baggage and to see them work through and support each other and give each other the room to grow is so very important especially at this time. Young people don't have enough role models, real people role models with realistic back stories and families dealing with huge life altering situations. This is important.

Biggest mistake in TV history. I dont see where this is going. Why? Just when things are going good they take it all away. I dont think I can watch season 5 if there is one. Very disappointed.

I waited for this season since last year I was so pumped for this. I watched all 8 episodes in a day and for the first 7 I was pleased by the way the show kept it's natural charm and chemistry, and then episode 8 happened. All my joy and happiness went right out the window. Killing Logan was the wrong move. Veronica and Logan would NEVER have a perfect relationship, they would have arguments and disagreements, just like a normal couple. Logan gets called off on duty at the drop of a dime so it's not like he was going to be hanging over Veronica's shoulder. Rob is full of shit, I wouldn't be surprised if later down the line we find out that Rob just didn't like Jason, and just wanted him off the show. That's how it seems to me.

I started to binge-watch Veronica Mars when I found out that it was coming back especially finding out that Logan was still in her life! I am so disappointed to find this out that they kill Logan off! I definitely don't want to see it now because this show was GREAT because of Veronica and LOGAN! Wow so disappointing to see writers killing off important characters. As Kristen Bell said, we are coming for him. BRING LOGAN BACK

I'm still hanging on a different ending for this S4 finale, and it's 2 years later. The Logan and Veronica story is the calm and peaceful space amidst all the murder and mystery.. so bring Logan back, alive

but Veronica has always been the underdog and we are ready for her to heal and be happy. There is still so much Logan can bring to Veronica's life and growth. Please bring him out....hanging on to that slim- nonexistent chance that he's not dead

I don't think the reasoning is justified. Basically he just put Logan in the Box of Just being Veronica love interest which he was not. He is such an interesting character and they just killed him Off for shock value. Veronica already is an Underdog, this just felt cheap and unnecessary!
