Per Tyler Drake of Arizona Sports, there is a new player at the Arizona Cardinals practice field today....

LB Julian Okwara. Thoughts?

Can you imagine, your a fringe player, absolutely breaking your body, pushing yourself beyond your limits, just trying to make the 53 man roster, the final cuts are in, and you made it, you allow yourself to breath and your stress ulcers to rest for the first time in months, your part of the 53! ... then your coach says "Just so you know, this roster isn't actually final, some of you on it are definitely not going to be here week 1" then drops his mike and walks away.

If our offense is smart and stays run-heavy, you can get away with a lighter defensive roster. That's a BIG if though.

Michael Carter clearing waivers is actually wild lol awesome he's still with the organization at least

Well! Cards had all off-season to address Pass Rush. To depend on Rookie and Injury prone player. Plus, 35 mil salary cap space. Tells me Monti handcuff by Mr. B. SO I hope a big trade happens to prove this wrong.

Gannon, being a former defensive coordinator, knows the DL, especially Edge needs help...he knows we need to pressure opposing QB's or our secondary is toast...if we don't fix our line...we will be talking about a top 5 pick in next year's draft

Sounds like they're exploring trade options. and they definitely plan on doing something there.

I compared Julian Okwara vs Cam Thomas. Cards might have upgraded and have 7th rd pick. Okwara was picked up as FA with Eagles. Did not perform last year. But year before with different team 5 sacks. So, hopefully, it's a scheme deal that works best.

I have my doubts about this roster and this team. I dont really like what ive seen in preseason. Too many injuries and not enough production. Not competitive whatsoever and we cant move the ball. If all of that is riding on our starters than we are not going to win more than 5 or 6 games this year.

We will see if the dust has not settled...I would be looking for another backup QB, Edge rusher, Cornerback...no one wants to spend the money...when Kyler does not have the right pieces in place he will get blamed for the 4-win season...they obviously don't want to compete this year...maybe even another vet Defensive line

instead of eating whatever Monti feeds us why are we allowing this crap to happen? if this was Keim we’d be calling him out! This is literally the same defense as last year! need we remember how bad we were?? Nickles and jones were over paid, only decent move we made is getting Mac Wilson from the Pats, trying to win my ass. same old dang cards man

Tell me why don't the reporters ask Gannon? Why they won't do anything with pass rushers.Cause we know we don't have enough.Everybody knows it.Why don't they ask him point blank? This mystery fucking thing sucks...
