Chinese, Russian navies in joint drill

Показать описание
China and Russia are upgrading their joint marine defense capability through their "Joint Sea 2016" exercises which have been underway since Monday. Russia has sent one large missile destroyer and a full-length landing ship along with some supporting vessels to participate in the joint drill being held at the northern waters of the South China Sea.
Both the Chinese and Russians are focusing on coordinating their efforts in playing out the defensive part of the drill, while the Chinese also provide an offensive side from under the sea and from overland.
