Tito has almost always had a woman playing bass in the band. At one time, the bass player and drummer were husband & wife, and they both decided to leave performing to pursue building a family. That's gotta be tough replacing both a drummer and bass player. My favorite female bass player in the band has been Caroline 'Lucy LaLoca' Rippy, who started in 2007 with the band. The girl playing bass in this video is Lolita Carroll Larriva (daughter of Tito Larriva) and the girl on drums is Samantha Bishop. This lineup is looking and sounding pretty good. Bringing people up on stage to dance during 'After Dark' is an awesome way the band typically ends a show, and the song/party can last as long as 10 minutes. It would incredible to see everyone who has ever played in Tito & Tarantula to get together on stage at the same time for a massive 'Reunion' would be a heck of a party.

PS --- Tito Larriva & Steve Hufsteter originally wrote 'After Dark' back in the 80's while in a band together called The Cruzados. Steve Hufsteter is hands down the best man on lead guitar for performing 'After Dark', especially during the long 'end-of-show' improvisation party on stage with people from the crowd, and Tito always absolutely pours his soul into the vocals of the song and hugely has fun with the crowd on stage.

The discography of Tito & Tarantula follows a sad way, stigmatized by its inability to star music, although it still offers the sounds in American movies ....the after dark is amazing the prince of sorrow..i love him
