Great videos I've been learning more and more about WordPress and PHP/ server security. Was wondering if you could make a video on removal. Most of the time I just clear out all of the core files and replace theme files and plug-in files just to be sure with the latest version but was wondering if you had any tips for other methods or being more efficient with his process.

It's generally a bad idea to install stuff with sudo, which may lead to permissions trouble - in this case it installs the gem for all users as root. This may not be a problem if you are the sole user on the computer, but you should really know what you are doing when using sudo. Why not use 'gem install --user-install wpscan', or use rbenv or RVM?

I always find my wordpress websites always have some sort of security issue. I never really know how to fix them. Even with plug-ins something always happens

Hey man I’m a Patron and also a full time penetration tester. If your interested I could put together some things that we look for anytime we test a wordpress site other then what wpscan finds!
