GAME: Nexus: The Jupiter Incident (2004)
BATTLE 1: 2 versus 3. I am controlling 2 Ori Cruisers against 2 Tau'ri ships, and one Goa'uld Ha'tak. Ship types in video,
BATTLE 2: 4 versus 3. I am controlling 4 ships (2 Human, 1 Ancient, 1 Lucian/Goa'uld) against 2 Ori ships and 1 satellite. Ship types in video.
BATTLE 3: 9 versus 2. I am controlling 9 ships against 2 Ori ships. Ship types/affiliations in video.

DESCRIPTION: I decided to try out the Ori cruisers that the mod offers, and to answer the obvious question, yes the superlaser is extremely fun and awesome, as you likely saw when it twice decimated a Ha'tak with one shot each. More to come, and see you next video.

Flying toilet seats were never so DEADLY!

And the Nexus AI really needs to make it so that ships don't keep coming within kissing distance and not leaving that close proximity.

@Mazryon Oh have I noticed that hehe. Hopefully everything will be a tad smoother in Nex 2

@GamesTSF Yep, but that's only in the context of its own combat (i.e., all guns can fire at many different angles). If you've played with bombers in the original game a lot, you'll notice that if you tell them to use their primary weapons (which can only fire straight ahead) they won't fire very often. I hope that the AI's problems with fixed-axis weaponry (as well as their occasional inability to leave kissing distance) will be fixed for Nexus 2.

@Mazryonh Haha so true, but the Nexus AI actually tends to be fairly competent compared to a lot of other game AI
