The important part(s) to clean in the MAF sensor are the resistive elements, look like tiny springs or light bulb filaments on mine so make sure you are spraying directly on those elements. They are the parts that measure the airflow

The green “gunk” on the butterfly is copper (cupric) sulfate, corrosion from the copper in the brass, don’t think throttle body cleaner will remove it. If it is keeping the butterfly from moving smoothly you could use a little steel wool on it, but make sure you don’t leave any dust behind, so remove the throttle body, or use a vacuum, so you don’t suck any into the intake

I Did this to my same exact motor..its normal for little rough start after a good cleaning...you should do a relearn after unplugging of the throttle body may explain for little loss of power.

That’s not the air intake, the intake is the part that bolts to the head. The plastic part is the intake duct, “air box”, plenum, or similar.

If your car use gasoline then try Amsoil P.i. Performance Improver Gasoline Additive.

Try resetting the ECU and idle relearn, then test it out

I just did mine and it made a huge difference to my car .. in your video was the sensor actually dirty in the first place ? also when i did mine i went to town on it using heaps of the can over a period of time.. you hardly did anything.... prior to cleaning mine i held the engine at a certain rpm (not idle) and used a scanner to see what the MAF was reading.. then repeated afterwards.. Mine read 25% more afterwards which was not a surprise cos visually it was dirty.

Also those diag apps a re useless for HP estimating. FYI i didn't uses anyof these products so im not a bot lol
