1:1800 works for me! Super excited about this one! Between this and Blood Red Skies, I'll just have my paycheck directly deposited to Warlord Games! Lol, Cheers! 🍻

"Okay, so i set up my ships. Now how do we-"

1:1800 eh? I'll grab the rules regardless but all of my models are 1:6000 so we can play massive fleet engagements on a 6x4 table.

We had to houserules the radar+smoke interaction in v1 (the thing where British or US could use radar to shoot through smoke and - barring a few Germans - no one else could so...British and US just won outright by laying down smoke screens). Now, I completely understand it - after the Battle of the North Cape and the sinking of the Scharnhorst the German Naval Chief said that without radar you cannot win surface battles so the game kinda supported that. It, however, did not make a particularly fun game for the Japanese for example to rarely get to fire their weapons.

This looks interesting, I’ll have to check it out. Tho I am wondering, will you guys restock the Iron Age Assyrians and other nations around that time?

I mean, yeah, realism this and that, but I would really like those ships to be bigger so they don't look like someone carved them out of cheese and painted them...
Does anybody know if there is a WW2 Naval game with... nice looking capital ships?

1800 is a bit too big for my city if I want to go for realistic scale, but would certainly help attracting others

Well I’m not interested in this until the Royal Navy and Kriegsmarine come

The Idea is great! But ships in 1:1800..naaaah 1:700 is ok, fine details, lots of modles in this scale...but 1 to a thousand eight hundred!? Those ships will be small and fragile, almost no detail...aircafts...a markers? What about subs, pt boats? Those would be like....4 -5 milimeters long? But still my WWII naval battle enthusiasm is growing :)

Models look pretty crappy - aare those the actual models or stand ins?

To be honest I'd rather sea some videos of the game play.

Hmm, I wish models wouldn't come on those fat bases with letters. Can they be taken off? Are bases necessary for gameplay? They totally ruin the visual impression.

You lose a lot of goodwill by continuing forcing non-standard scales. Why not 1:2400? A rising sea floats all boats, in the end this will doom your business model, IMO.
